Difficulty concentrating

Difficulty concentrating

Children who have difficulty managing their attention and concentration in their everyday life may struggle with their independence and keeping up in the classroom.

How We Can Help

Children of all ages find it hard to maintain concentration which is strongly presented at school in the classroom. If a child is easily distracted or cannot follow instructions without the need to repeat and ask these multiple times or struggles with poor concentration they may display with significant challenges across all areas of childhood such as school, home and making friends.

An Occupational Therapist can determine the factors that may be the reason behind the lack of concentration needed at vital times of learning. The Occupational Therapist will provide interventions, therapy and education that aim to increase the overall sustained concentration of the child.
